Where is the 'submit vat return to hmrc' button ?

Question asked by Ryan Thomas 9 years ago

done all the gov gateway stuff, added clearbooks as agent etc.

Ran the vat report and it says at the bottom:

"You may still delete this VAT return if you have not yet submitted it to HMRC. Click here to delete it."

So Its not submitted by the looks, where the heck is the 'SUBMIT RETURN' button ?

thanks

First you search the appropriate dates and if happy press 'create VAT return':

file

Then you need to 'confirm' it:

file

Then you enter your credentials and submit:

file

This is all on the presumption you've been into Toggle Features > VAT and ticked the 'online filing' box.

Hi - if you've appointed CB as agent, ie you are not using an accountant, then following creation of the VAT return as Kevin sets out above, the screen should look like this, enabling you to submit:

file

So there will be no credential boxes.

As Kevin says though you need to turn on VAT submission in the Settings>Toggle features.
