Accounts Weekly Report Email

Question asked by Graham Godley-McAvoy 9 years ago

Some of our users have reported receiving an accounts weekly report by email but I can't find where to enable/disable this in CB, can anyone help?

Hi Graham and Kathryn,

I have been informed that there was a bug, preventing the emails from being sent out, which has now been fixed.

If you log into your account and go to Settings>Configure System>Toggle features, scroll to the bottom of the page and untick Clear Books weekly reports email, you should no longer receive them.

Hi Zulqar,

You will now find the Weekly reports option by going to the symbol of a person in the top right and clicking on Settings.

If you would like to control whether or not you receive Clear Books emails at all, the toggle can be found in the same location as previously said.

Yes - these seem to have turned themselves on without any intervention from me. Please let us know how to turn them off.

Hi Fernando,

I am sorry to hear that these were not working for you so far. In fact there is a way to turn these off within your Clear Books account. You can find this under the person icon > Settings > then uncheck 'Receive weekly reports email about this company'. I hope this helps.

All the best,

Mohamed.

Thanks for this information. As others said this function started working out of the blue for me. I have been with Clearbooks for 3 years now and I have never received these emails.

Also the email itself can be technically classified as SPAM: It is unrequested and more importantly, does not a link to stop it.

I would recommend you to review your email templates.

I cannot find it in the menu you mention, has it moved
