Our water and sewerage invoices are produced bi-annually, however the payments are on a monthly direct debit. Is there a way to enter the invoices and then schedule the monthly payments.

I would usually recommend creating a recurring template, however, there isn't currently a bi-annual frequency option. As an alternative, you can always make copies of the bi-annual invoice each time it is required - the best way to apply the payments is to import a statement and allocate the payment on the statement to the copied bill (a bit like in the example below):
