How to start invoice number with 2017000001?
Hi Sreelakshmi,
You won't be able to reset the invoice numbering sequence back to 1, however, you can change the prefix to 2017 on the Settings>Configure system>Invoice themes>Preferences menu:

I am having problems with this too, have you got a number I can call and speak to someone about this please
Oh actually I suppose you could remove the Sales Invoice prefix and then set the first invoice number to 2017001

Unfortunately, like I said in the original post, you won't be able to reset the invoice numbering sequence back to 1.
The last invoice no was 2016000981 and after doing like above it came as 2017000982. Please Advice.
