Running report using reference field in sales invoices/quotes

Since the recent upgrades to the software it appears we are now unable to run a search on keywords in the reference fields of invoices and quotes. Is there anyway this can still be done as it was very useful for our business.

The search tool also doesn't pick up other fields such as the customer names. Again this was very useful. Is it something we can alter in settings?

Hi Lucy,

I've just run some tests and the search tool should pick up references and customer names. Do you have any examples where this is not the case?
