Payroll Dates

Hi, Please can you tell me if i am running the payroll system with the correct dates...

for example... week 21/02 would show payslip date 17/02 but is actually paid on 24/02, as we pay in arrears. Can someone tell me if this is correct or if there is a less confusing way running the payroll.

As far as I know, the only date on the payslip is the pay date which should of course match the actually pay date.

Payroll doesn't revolve around when the work relates to, it;s when the payment is made.
