API - How to set the invoice status

Is it possible to specify the status of the invoice (Paid/Unpaid) while creating it? We couldn't find any parameter in the 'Create Invoice' endpoint: https://www.clearbooks.co.uk/support/api/docs/soap/createinvoice. If not, how to set it using another endpoint? Create a payment using this?: https://www.clearbooks.co.uk/support/api/docs/soap/createpayment/
