Quote footer not showing up on PDF quotes

although i have entered it into the quote footer box on the theme and saved changes?? footer on quote just says 'page one of 1'
Hi John,
Can you try editing the quote and updating the theme to a built-in theme, saving, and then editing the theme and updating back to the theme you created. I think there may be an issue with this which I will escalate to the technical team.

Thanks for replying - We did what John Fouracre recommended above and got it working. Our surprise is that this is a 3 year old issue which seem to still be unresolved.
