Cancellation of Clearbooks Notice Period/Account Records

Dear Clearbooks Team

Please can you clarify what the process is if we decide not to renew in July 2017?

What happens to the account information, is this still accessible once we cancel and if so for how long?

Hi Claire,

The subscription rolls over automatically so you would need to close your account before the renewal date to prevent being charged again. Once the account is closed you cannot access it again - we keep the data for 90 days before the account is purged (we can restore it again within that time).

You can export all data on the Tools>Export menu.

We are about to roll a new archive subscription deal (more details to follow soon via our newsletter/blog hopefully much before July) which will allow you to downgrade to a much-reduced price.
