Benefit in kind

Question asked by Izabela Szachta 7 years ago

When payroll will support it? I have employees that use company's cars and I would like to get rid of filling P11D every year.

Theo - I'm not sure if this is what you meant but if you added the benefit to the payroll as a pre-tax benefit it would calculate NI, whereas the benefit is only taxable on the employee, you would also have to deduct the net sum so that the employee was not paid the money

Izabela joins many other users that would like to see this feature.

As the rules change and P11Ds are phased out this will become the norm, and it would be a good selling feature for CB's payroll. Xero, FreeAgent and QBO users are asking for this feature, wouldn't it be nice for CB to beat them all to it? (Tell David!)

Hi Paul,

Thanks for the clarification.

I will make sure the development team are aware of this.
