Balance on foreign exchange bank account

How do you write down a balance on a foreign exchange bank account. We have a number of bank accounts that in the home currency it's zero, due to foreign exchange movements Clearbooks is showing GBP balances. I've tried to write off using a journal but that's not allowed.

Hi Niall,

In this case, you will have to revalue the foreign exchange bank account. To do so, head to Money > Bank Accounts > Click on the balance for the relevant account > You should then see an option to revalue the account at your preferred date, please see the example:
