Email from Clearbooks

One of our clients has received an email from Clearbooks requesting them to click on a link to verify that they can receive emails from Clearbooks. Can you please advise what this is?
Hi Brenda,
When you add an email address to one of your Contacts, an email is sent to that contact to verify their email address. The Customer will need to click on the link to enable you to send them emails from Clear Books, e.g. invoices.
