Hi Sarah,

When you go to process an employee by clicking on the 'Process' button in a period, there is a 'Show statutory payments' button available. Once that is clicked, a box for entering 'Statutory paternity pay' displays.

Yes, you would have to find out how much your company is willing to pay the employee as basic pay when he is on leave and the Paternity pay figure goes on top of that.

The rest of the calculations happen automatically.

sorry if I put the amount in the box it is adding it to his pay ? surely his basic amount needs to change ?

Sorry if I am missing something ?

No problem, Sarah!

It works it all out for you.

fab thank you

so sorry if I am being a bit thick !

I need to deduct his basic pay or if I put an amount in the paternity pay it works it all out ?
