Hi Could anyone help me? I'm starting a new business which will have remote unpaid helpers incurring expenses on its behalf. I was looking for an online expense package (like say Expensify or other similar) which links up with clearbooks so I can import the expenses and pay them once approved Maybe I missed something (I apologise in advance in this case) in Clearbooks but I am struggling to find that Any ideas? Thank you John
I would suggest maybe using the mobile App. The remote unpaid helpers incurring expenses could use the app to record those expenses and it would link to your clear books web. From there you can approve transactions.

However, we are now increasing our remote workers (different countries) - may I ask for an update is there an app (say like Expensify or equivalent which will work with clear books? I want to avoid having to enter their expenses twice if you see what I mean. Maybe I don't understand the way clear books works. What I want to see is an expense report by the individual that shows all expenses they incurred on each trip, by the trip, rather than a series of entries of expenses. So more of a management view rather than an accounting view. Thanks in advance for any help. John
Hi John,
I do not believe that it is possible to see a expenses report for each trip by trip. But you can filter by the employee and see only what they have logged from the app. All expenses need to be approved before they are recorded so that should allow you to get rid of any duplicates before they are approved.

Thinking more on this in fact. You could do this per trip by creating a project per trip and then filtering by project. This would allow you to obtain the reporting you want.
