List MTD VAT returns

Question asked by W J Embleton 6 years ago

We have used the quarterly vat return process, including quick pay, since April 2019 with no problem. A submitted return shows up under HMRC in the SALES - INVOICES table, as does the associated quick pay form. So far so good. The account is correctly shown as VAT Control.

But, the Sales Invoices table quickly gets large so we try to filter the form using HMRC as the customer search term. No luck, the returned form is empty, even though with the filter set to ALL the HMRC entries all show correctly (amongst all the rest, of course).

This is an irritation, not a show stopper, but any thoughts would be appreciated.

Hi,

I see. I would suggest sending in the query to our support email so that we can investigate the issue further. That would be contact support.

All the best,

Mohamed.

Hi,

Absolutely and I know that it is possible to filter the sales list by HMRC so I would love to help you get that all working for you. I do believe it is the little things that make things extra special so even if this isn't a show stopper, we'd definitely love to get that up and running for you.

All the best,

Mohamed.

Thanks Mohamed, I will do that.

As I said in the original post, this is not a show stopper but is would be nice to have Clearbooks as free of surprises as possible.

Settings>Organisation>Details and Tax>HMRC Contact is just listed as HMRC

Hi,

Can I ask you to check under Settings > Organisation > Details and Tax and see what your HMRC contact is. This would be the contact to filter by as it should be possible to filter by contact for HMRC.

All the best,

Mohamed.
