clearbooks cannot connect to my bank account

Hi, I am a newbie to using clearbooks and I cannot connect my account up to my bank account. My bank is listed with clearbooks when I used the search bar to find it. The error message is that there isn't a connection and to use a different bank or bank account. Since I use only one bank for all of my business, what exactly is the error problem and how can I solve it? do I have to set up an account with another bank?
