Scans - are they parsed?

Hiya, I've just seen the scan function for purchase invoices - Are they parsed at all, or is it simply a file attachment to the ledger?
Hi Paul,
May I ask if you mean via the mobile app or in the web application? In the Mobile app we apply OCR to automatically input some of the information in the invoice. Within the web application it is simply attached.
