Customer Statements

Hi, I am trialling ClearBooks at the moment . When I have tried to send a statement to a dummy customer I have set up with my email address, when you open the PDF file attached it asks you to log in to view the file, although the URL link to the statement works perfectly - is this just something with our trial version as I have not linked up our SMTP server or would our customers have to create an account to view the PDF documents?
