How to record an additional payment against an existing paid and allocated invoice

Hi there,

I have allocated an invoice which is now marked as paid, however I would like to add an additional payment to that invoice. Could you please let me know how can I create a new payment agains an allocated invoice?

Hi Mafalda,

Is the current invoice marked as paid in full? If so, you must create a new invoice for the additional payment and allocate the payment to this. Alternatively, you can edit the existing invoice amount but you must delete the payment first, edit the invoice, then re-allocate the payment against this.
