Directors Loan Account

Question asked by carl 1 year ago

My company is in liquidation and the liquidators are saying I owe 75k. But the directors loan account is a positive figure, meaning the company owes me money from wages i havent taken.

How can I prove this to them?

I am right in saying a positive figure is owed to me?

Hi Carl,

Apologies for the delay. A positive figure on the DLA would usually indicate the Director owes the business money. You can download the DLA statement by heading to Money > Bank accounts > Click on the DLA balance > Select the date range and export as csv.
