Question asked by Karen Butler 6 months ago

I make monthly payments to my pension fund. How should I code these?

Hi both,

If this is in relation MTD for Income tax purposes.

These are not a business expense and so are not part of the digital records for a self employment or property business. In order to claim tax relief for personal pension contributions, they are recorded on the MTD Tax Return account as part of the usual tax return process at the year end. You can open this account by hovering over your business name > Add MTD Tax Return.
