New to clear books

Question asked by Caroline Bosker 1 day ago

I want to create a csv sheet, use the suggested tags at the top of the page in the same order, but first alphabetise the sheet then upload it.
(By temorarily putting a copy of the bill names column e.g petrol at the front and on a spread sheet on my computer, alphabetising the entire sheet, then deleting the copied column before submitting),

I think this might be faster for me as I have a lot of personal entries and they all need deleting before I submit the sheet. Also it will be faster to add the codes after wards.

Also can you add an option to put the codes on the c.s.v, i.e can you add an additional optional coloumn.

How do I delete the individual csv it if it goes wrong?

Can you use ctll f to find stuff on the upload csv sheets from the bank?

Sorry there seem to be an upload CSV sheet with these headings

fileDate Description Money Out Money In

Can the CSV be deleted once it has been loaded.

Hi Caroline,

No problem, thank you for clarifying. This is in relation to importing a bank statement. The CSV file does not get stored on Clear Books once the import has been completed.

You can delete the csv file from your computer if you no longer require it.
