Impossible to edit income entries once saved?

Hi there, Getting on well with Clear Books generally but have put in provisional figures here and there (net income figure instead of gross) with a view to updating later - only to discover I can't. The only way to do it seems to be to delete the record altogether and recreate the transaction, but then the dates of the transactions are out of whack.

I just want to be able to edit my income/expenses (after all, it's also possible to make the occasional typo and want to correct), but keep my transactions in date order. Is this impossible? Anyone know?

Hi Gillian,

That is correct, it is not possible to edit transactions, you must void and recreate the transaction with the correct details. You can view the transactions in date order by clicking on the Date header which will sort by ascending/ descending date order.
