Hi Wendy,

I have taken a look, the MTD for Income tax widget is for the period 06/04/26 - 05/04/27. This will exclude the two expenses dated on 01/04, which makes up the difference of 11.22.

My tax year is set at 1st April - 31st march

Hi Wendy,

Once you connect to your HMRC account, you will be able to configure this to calendar period which starts from 01/04. As it is currently unconnected, you will only see a preview of the figures using the default tax year.

Thank you, I thought maybe it was that. I'm only getting ready for MTD, giving myself a year to master Clear books before I'm dragged kicking and screaming into MTD. I'll change those dates and all should be well. Thank you for your help, I'm sure we'll speak again soon. Wendy

Hi Wendy,

No problem at all - you're very welcome. We are here to support you throughout your first year and beyond!
