Hi, My accountant used to take a persentage of my bills as part of the "use of home as office and clinic" . he did it at the end of the year. i just entered my gas and electric etc. Now i dont know if i should be entering the complete bill or a percentage of the bill . can you help please?

When entering these expenses, you should only input the business proportion of the expense.

If you are just putting in the HMRC flat rate then it can be just a total for the quarter. Please see: https://www.gov.uk/simpler-income-tax-simplified-expenses/working-from-home

I notice from the web search that the easy way to do this is to just do £4 a week expenses. Would i put these in as simple expense and leave out the gas/ electric stuff. do a total for the quarter, or is there another way?
