I've read that these would save a lot of time with receipt scanning and bill entry - do either of these integrate with Clearbooks? And would they actually be better in real world versus standard Auto Bills?
Any experience with either?

We previously integrated with Dext, however Dext switched off their API earlier this year so applications can no longer integrate with them directly. We have invited them to replace the integration using our API and offered our assistance in doing so, but as yet they have chosen not to. Virtually all previous users of the Dext integration are now using Auto Bills. Hopefully one of them will provide their comparison of the two before too long.
So does Auto Entry work with Auto Bills? Or are they essentially the same tools?

Auto Entry is an external third-party software integration that allows you to capture and extract receipt or invoice data and send it to Clear Books. The approximate cost based on monthly bills of 150+ would be £52 + VAT for Auto Entry.
Auto Bills, on the other hand, is an add-on product built directly into Clear Books. It uses Optical Character Recognition technology to scan receipts or bills uploaded directly to your account or via the Clear Books mobile app, automatically populating the bill creation form. This can be added on to your Accounting subscription for only £15+VAT per month.
While both tools serve a similar purpose by automating the data entry process for purchases, they are separate features. Auto Bills works as an native feature within the Clear Books platform, whereas Auto Entry acts as an external integration.

Yes so we pay for Auto Bills but feel the OCR isn't the best so would we look to use both? Or does Auto Entry feed into Auto Bills?
or would we only require one?
