what is unallocated cash ?

What is unallocated cash and where this does appear in the balance sheet ? So I have a number of unallocated cash amounts but cannot see how or where this appears in the balance sheet ?

Hi

Unallocated cash is either a payment on account or just an over payment on an invoice.

A payment on account for a supplier will Cr Bank account and Dr Trade creditors

A payment on account from a customer will Cr Trade debtors and Dr Bank account.
