Directors loans

If you go to Bank accounts/Add you will see a list of bank account types you can create, including a Director's loan account. Setting it up as if a bank account makes transfers to & from other banks much easier and also allows you to pay for bills, expenses and anything else, directly from the account, rather than having to use journals.
