Open Payroll/ Employer/ Details, What is HMRC Payroll Entity?

What does it mean by HMRC Payroll Entity? It currently gives me options to select from my list of suppliers.
Just create a supplier called HMRC PAYE.
It will then lodge your PAYE liabilities in the form of bills against that supplier.
