Adhoc expense claims - settlement account

Question asked by Kevin Doran 10 years ago

Is it possible to change the default account adhoc expense claims are settled to?

For example: instead of being posted to John Smith Expenses could they go to John Smiths DLA?

Hi Kevin,

At the moment this is not possible, the expense will always go to the individual's account code. The only option you have now is to edit the name of the account code, which isn't really the same thing!?

I think this could be another one for the ideas...

Thanks

Chris

Ha yes, another one for Kev's ever growing list! ;-)

Thanks Chris...

Hi both

For what it's worth, I just pay off my expense account balance with my Director's Loan (bank) account? It helps to keep it in credit (just!)

That's exactly what I was doing previously until one of your posts put me onto the adhoc method!!

Spoilt for choice...

Sorry Paul, just re-read your last post.

I presume you're just creating a journal for that?
