I have also just got this further information: I can confirm that the Unknown item(s) in the cash flow takes the sum of the year total per month from general the ledger and subtracts cashflow year total per month.

If you export the cashflow and general ledger as .csv files then it will explain where the transaction amounts come from.

We are working on breaking down the amounts and that will help us better to find out just where they are coming from.

Hi Elena,

this is a known issue which we are investigating already. Once our team have worked out what these mean and where they are coming from we will update you.

I'm sorry if this causes any inconvenience, but if there is anything else I can do, please let me know.

Many Thanks

Chris

Thanks Chris! I hope it won't take to long to investigate :)

Hi Chris,

Is there any update on unknown items in cash report?

Regards Elena

Hi Elena, I haven't heard anything as yet on this issue, but I will ask around the office today for you.

Regards

Chris

Hi Chris,

I'm also in need of understanding these unknown items!

Looking forward to hearing back.

Many thanks...

Simon

Hi Chris,

Has that issue been resolved?

Regards Elena

Hi Elena and Simon,

I am afraid that this is still an ongoing investigation. We have still not got to the bottom of where these unknown items are coming from.

We will update you just as soon as there are any further developments.

All the best,

Chris

Hi Chris,

Do you have any update on these - We are working on breaking down the amounts and that will help us better to find out just where they are coming from.

Will Unknown items always be shown on the report?

Hi Elena,

This is linked to the journal which have been created on an account. Some account codes and adjustments are not pulling through and displaying. We are currently in the process of updating the system so that in future these display fully.

I hope this will be done soon,

Chris

The issue is that when we see such items it looks like something additional and unexplained My preference such items will not be shown, i.e. they are allocated to the right categories. Do you know what i mean?

I do understand Elena and that is exactly what we are working to do. These items will appear in the correct places and be labelled correctly.

Chris

ok, thank. I hope it will happen soon.

Hi,

Has there been an update on this solution?

I am trying to export a cash flow for use by investors and it's full of unknowns!

Thanks,

Shane

Hi John,

I've submitted a support ticket.

I don't seem to have any significant unallocated payments (as per the unallocated payments section of the money tab)

So it must be the former. Any help adjusting for this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Shane

A cash flow report provides a snapshot of the cash inflows and outflows of a business over a specific period. It helps assess the liquidity and financial health of a company by tracking how cash moves through its operations, investing activities, and financing activities.
