I'm just starting to use clearbooks so have no opinions as yet but have had bad experiences with other s/w in the past so my first question is always "how do I maintain easy control of my data?' IE what is the entry / exit strategy of moving from one platform to another please? I'm assuming I'm being thick but I can't find an obvious import / export option.

Hi,
You can import using the Tools > Import > Overview feature within Clear Books this will allow you to Import your accounting data.
Additionally the format you will need to import your data in is .CSV files.
