Where can I view my invoices from you?
Question asked by Shane Selby 11 years ago
Hi
Where can I view my invoices from you? I should have one for £18? Do you email these through to us, or can I go somewhere to view this?
Thanks

Home > Subscription > Payment Settings > Payment History
As a side note, I personally think think should be converted into an idea to request that all invoices are emailed or at least a link provided instead of us having to log in and navigate the menu options,
Is this post public? I thought I was submitted a helpdesk ticket. Good job I didn't put anything personal here.
Thanks Kevin.
Pleasure and yes, you've posted within the community.
If you want to submit a private ticket go to your main Clear Books dashboard then Need Help (over on the right) followed by Send Us A Message.
OK. Thanks.
Hi Shane,
As Kevin says, your statements can be found in Home > Subscription > Payment Settings > Payment History and then you should see a list of invoices you can click on.
Shane, this is our community forum. It's the place where users - accountants, bookkeepers and small buisiness owners share ideas, opinions and ask questions on many different subjects. If you'd like to have a look then you will see that every topic is coverwed and offers a great mix of user and staff perspectives.
Chris
P.S. Thanks as always, Kevin.
"Home > Subscription > Payment Settings > Payment History"
So in other words, the invoices are hidden.
I've gotta say, I don't really find Clearbooks to be that user friendly/intuitive. But then again, I'm not an accountant. So I'm not sure how much of my general confusion is due to my lack of expertise or to poor design / interface.
That said, every time I go to look for my past invoices, it takes 20+ minutes.
Yes, going to "Home > Subscription" makes sense, but at that point I move on and look elsewhere. I mean, why would I look at my "payment settings" if I just want to view past invoices? Those are two separate things.
Robert
In general I do find it intuitive but I agree some menu options could be moved, CB invoicing definitely being one of them. I've also go no idea why links to the invoices aren't provided with the monthly email.
Kevin, under your name it says "Accountant". Under my name, it says "11 entries" (maybe 12 now). I think that pretty much explains our differing perceptions of intuitive. ;-)
I was sort of agreeing with you in a roundabout way ;-)
