Was there any answer to this question I can't see anything in the email settings, this would be a very useful feature.

I haven't heard anything David but I agree it would be very useful to save manually creating a thank you for paying your invoice email for every invoice!

6 years later, and still a basic feature is still not implemented.

Often my customers are puzzled if I don't send an email to thank them for their payment.

Yes I can automatically send them several overdue reminders.

Surely these feature isn't overly difficult to add, other accounting systems have had it for years

I am afraid this is still something we do not support at present but that we are aware of. Our priority at present is preparation for MTD, Clear Books Micro and development of a mobile app. I hope this helps.
