Filters and items per page.

Hi

I always find that when I select "Sales", "Purchases" or any of the others lists which have filters. The filter for the number of items per page is always set to the lowest option by default. Can we not have an option to set this ourselves. All I ever do when I get to these pages is instantly change it to the highest available option. Every....single...time... Please look into this so we can change the default setting.
