Expenses module on the home page showing wrong figures

The expenses module on the home page seems to be showing the wrong amounts. I have noticed recently when adding two different expenses that the amount showing on the home page expenses module doesn't match that actual amount.
CB support says there is a bug but haven't found a fix.
Has anybody else noticed this?
