Unable to allocate different project codes to different items within expenses claims

Problem reported by Liz Rees 9 years ago

I find the project codes function very helpful in enabling me to pull off reports of expenditure related to different projects.

Less helpful unfortunately is that, when inputting expenses claims, I am unable to allocate different project codes to individual item lines. I regularly therefore have to create and submit numerous different expenses claims, rather than being able to include all of these as different lines on one claim.

Do you expect for users to be able to allocate different project codes to different lines in the future?

Thanks Liz

OK great, thank you.

My pleasure, Liz, happy to help!

This is, indeed, determined by the user permissions associated with your assigned user role. The two preset roles on the system - Admin (Predefined) and User (Predefined) - would both have the Toggle features permission enabled. However, your role may have been customised, hence not allowing this particular permission. Anyone with the abovementioned access level would be able to edit the Toggle features.

Have a lovely day!

Hi Mia

Thanks for the quick response. I don't appear to have a 'Toggle features' section within my settings tab (I only have user settings) - is this something only someone with a higher access level than me would be able to amend?

Thanks Liz

Hi Liz,

If you head to Settings > Organisation > Toggle features, then on the Invoicing & Expenses tab enable the Project invoice items toggle feature, this will allow you to assign projects at the item level.

Hope it helps.
