RTI Submission

Problem reported by Keith Benham 7 years ago

We have inadvertently created a duplicate HMRC RTI Submission notification as we have already submitted this, is there a way to delete this notification.

Hi Keith,

If you resubmit an RTI it will override the previous RTI sent for that period. Due to this, you will be unable to delete the RTI Submissions.

Thanks, Theo

Theo,

A bit confused now as we had a late starting employee who started at the end of this month 26th June. So we did one submission for 9 employees on the 23rd June and then another one for the other new employee. Are you saying the submission for the 9 has been overwritten by the submission for the new employee as these were done a week apart? If so i presume we will need to do another RTI Submission for all 10 employees.

Hi Keith,

There is nothing to worry about and unnecessary to resubmit again. The RTI is submitted with the entities within as individuals so as the new person was not on the previous RTI they will have been added as a 10th member. It would have overwritten if you would have resubmitted a full RTI including the 9 employees that were already entered, then their details would have been refreshed with the details on the newer submission.

I hope this clears up any confusion.

Thanks, Theo

Theo,

Thanks I will just do the last employee again, thanks for your help.

Keith
