Duplicated Credit

Just found one of the above. However I can't delete as it was taken into account on last vat return.
How do I correct?
Hi Peter,
If it was included in a VAT return you will be unable to void the credit note. What you will need to do instead is cancel it out and the way to do this is to create an invoice with the same details as the credit note - once created you can allocate the credit note to the invoice. This invoice will need to be included on your next VAT return.
