Matching bills to invoices

We were wondering if there is any capability within the software to match up bills for materials to invoices? Need a quick way to match up what was bought and what materials where invoiced for and would like to avoid having to have a separate spreadsheet... I hope this makes sense... At the moment it looks like adding notes or attachments to invoices might be the only way.

Hi,

There isn't a direct way of matching bills with invoices within the system. However if you want to off-set a bill and an invoice from one particular contact you can use the contra payment method: https://www.clearbooks.co.uk/support/guides/sales/how-to-create-a-contra-payment/
