Why is there no search for a product? Some of us have a lot of product and the stock system is inadequate for many reasons.

Yes, it currently takes you to the stock report for that item. What screen would you find it most useful for it to display?
I can pass this feedback on to our Development Team and they may be able to improve the search functionality to find that screen also.

You can search for stock items in the main Clear Books search bar.

If I use the main search it shows me invoices / bills with a specific product included. It does not take me to the product.
I would like to search from the stock screen with the ability to use part of the name. If you have a lot of product then searching by alphabet is a pain. Whilst there are work arounds for the computer fluent they are long winded and this surely should be a basic.
Am I right in recalling that under an old menu system you did have this option?
