Changing trading name

We are required to change our trading name/trading address from today which I have done via Organisation settings - I'm concerned that historical invoices/purchases have also been affected by this change. Is there a way of retaining the original address/name for historical invoices/purchases?

Hi Julie,

Unfortunately, there is no way of keeping the old name associated with the account once changed. All invoices are linked to the company details and thus will change when they are altered. All I can suggest is to make a note of when you changed the name so that you can keep track of all the invoices dated before and the change and with which name they are associated.
