Retrospective VAT

Hi,

I'm just in the midst of trying to gather all my purchases for my first retrospective VAT claim. Previously used the basic version of clearbooks and only used the bank account import feature. Now with the full version things are slightly more complicated.

My question being: Is there an easy way to export from clearbooks all information which was originally captured when i reconciled my purchases from the bank import option so I can export to EXCEL and do a quick(er) first vat return?

Hi Dawn,

You can download your Purchase ledger from the Tools > Export screen by following the instructions in the Support Guide below and selecting "Purchase Ledger" from the menu.

Jut in case you are not aware, Clear Books can automatically create a VAT return from the Reports > Tax > VAT return screen, if you give it an appropriate date range.
