Maintenance cost

Hi Sir
I have one bill to process in the clear book. The cost is £200 for switches of big machine. Please can you guide me where can i book the cost?

Hi Sukumar
If you have recently bought the machine and these would normally have been fitted to it then I'd add it to the cost of the machine.
If they are replacing old switches then I'd put them to something like "repairs & renewals" as an overhead account.
If they are not an addition to a recent purchase and not replacing old switches then, at £200 I'd put them to something like "Expensed equipment" again an overhead account.
