Initial Capital

Question asked by GDPR Deleted 8 years ago

Hello,

I transferred £500 from my personal account into my business bank account, as an initial capital.

I'm trying to list that money in ClearBooks but can't work out how and where?

Thanks

Hello Andrew,

You would first need to head to the contacts page, and create yourself as a contact. Head back to the Money > Bank accounts screen. Select money in for the account you would like to apply the initial capital to, fill the form as desired.

file

Set the "From" menu to yourself, the "Account" to share capital, and set the VAT rate to Exclude from Vat return.

file Add as a transaction.

Thanks, Theo

If you head to the Contacts page. Select the add customer option.

file

Fill in the form as seen fit, all fields marked with an * are mandatory fields and need to be completed to proceed.

file

Click save once complete. You will now be a contact on the system, allowing yourself to be added to the explanation of the initial capital investment.

I hope this helps

Hi Theo,

Sorry can you walk me through adding myself as a contact please?

I see that my business bank account is listed as a Customer.

Thanks
