Changing accountants

Hello,

Currently my ClearBooks subscription is managed by my accountant. If one day I decide to work with a different accountant, would it be easy to keep my ClearBooks account with my data intact? How would separating my account from the accountant's would work?

Morning Volkan,

It is a relatively simple process.

The data and the account are owned by the company and not the accountant. So with adequate identification, usually a Passport or Drivers License and directive on company headed paper, we would transfer ownership from the accountant to the company and if desired remove the accountant's access.

In doing so this would also transfer subscription responsibilities away from the accountant onto the owner of the account.
