Payroll

Question asked by Rona Metters 8 years ago

Hi all, I am thinking of adding the payroll function to my subscription but just wondering what the honest feedback is in relation to ease of use etc?

Also I am likely to have ad hoc/temporary employees from time to time does this system allow me to easily add temporary employees?

Anything else that is useful to know before subscribing would be appreciated.

thanks

Rona

Hi Rona,

You are able to add temporary employees and process their payroll. Are you able to clarify what journal you are referring to?

Tommy

I recommend that you choose a payroll software that includes many features, including integrated payroll processing with employee time and attendance, managing income tax declarations, generating statutory recipients, and processing complete employees' final settlements.

I wasn't looking for a sales pitch, I have payroll software and at the moment I choose to remain with the bookkeeping package

I don't think it is unreasonable to ask for an answer to my question without the sales pitch.

I just want to know how to produce the journal.

Hi Rona,

I would say our Payroll module is definitely intuitive. You are able to add employees as conveniently as you add customers/ suppliers on the accounting module. You can manage and process all your employee salary information online with professional online payslips, that can be scheduled weekly, fortnightly, monthly, quarterly or annually. In addition, our Payroll module is HMRC compliant which can send RTIs to HMRC and the ability to file EPS and FPS compliant submissions.

For a more comprehensive overview of the features, please see: https://www.clearbooks.co.uk/apps/payroll-software/

All in all, I think a trial would give you the best reassurance, I have taken a look and it seems that your account has the open Payroll free trial, this can be accessed at the top left (Payroll).

Thanks,

Tommy
