Hello,
I note a user requested iZettle integration over three years ago. It is now one of the most used payment processers for small businesses in the UK and Clearbooks still hasn't integrated it. Is there a timeframe on integration please? Their API is pretty straight forward. It's a really pain to have to manually sync these for clients.

Hi Sean,
Yes, you are right Sean. We are looking to begin integration support for both iZettle and Stripe in the near future. But at this point in time, they are not our priority.
We are working on being ready for the MTD legislation, providing a minimal spreadsheet based offering for the individuals who are currently using merely a spreadsheet to manage their accounts.
We will keep you updated when we begin to integrate with the formerly mentioned solutions.

Best answerI feel like Clearbooks is really getting behind. Xero have offered iZettle integration for ages. Focusing on MTD, when it has now been delayed, indicates Clearbooks is really concentrating on winning new business from the one-man companies rather than bringing the core functionality up to date.
It is really becoming a difficult sell as an Accountant and it will be just as difficult with MTD clients....
Me to client: ... I'm afraid you'll need to use some online software, but it is really easy and this is what I recommend. Client: Hmm... I've heard they can integrate into X and Y. Me: Yes, but unfortunately not this one. You would need FreeAgent or Xero.
This is the conversation I've had a few times now because clients want integrations with the software they already use rather than creating more admin.
