Hello ,
I am trying to find out how much stock I had last year on the 31st October 2018.
The view stock report does not give me that info.
If someone can please help me with this.

I don't think there is an easy way of doing this, however, if you run a stock item report (as shown below), it will show the stock in and out and the date of these balance changes.
You would then have to manually calculate the balance - so in my example below the balance at the end of say Feb would be 185
