Cash receipts

Howdo I input/record the physical cash amount (not cash in bank) currently held for my business and where do I input purchases made with cash?

Hi Karen,

You can record the amount of physical cash in the business by creating a cash account under Money > Bank Accounts. As for recording cash purchases, you can do that the same as any other purchase but select the cash account as the payment account. I hope that is clear.
